Lutheran Hour Ministry Convention- March 25

WHEN: March 25, 2017

WHAT: 500 years ago, Martin Luther lit the candle that once again Illuminated Holy Scripture showing Jesus Christ as the only Way to eternal life. 100 years ago, the Lutheran Laymen’s League was formed to support the work of the LCMS in proclaiming Jesus Christ. Come, see, and hear the Rev. Dr. Dale Meyer, President of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and former Lutheran Hour Speaker share “What does it mean to be the church of the Lutheran Hour in 2017?” All are invited to register.

WHERE: The convention will be held at Park View Lutheran Church, 14 Grove Road, Eldridge, IA 52748. Take exit 129 off of U.S. Hwy 61 and then go one mile east on 267th St. (Park View is an idyllic unincorporated community 13 miles north of Davenport and 3 miles north of the town of Eldridge.)

REGISTRATION: Sign-in begins at 9:00 AM; the convention starts at 10:00 AM and will conclude about 4:00 PM. A noon meal will be served. Registration is $15 in advance or $18 at the door.

You must register by March 17th to guarantee a catered meal.  Make checks payable to “IDE LLL”.
